Inventory Intelligence tells you what needs a decision
MerchantPlay checks your own records for conditions worth acting on — stock that has gone negative, a count that contradicts itself, a delivery that never arrived. Every finding carries the evidence behind it and the action that resolves it.
Detected, not guessed
Findings come from deterministic checks against your own movements and counts. The same records produce the same findings every time, and MerchantPlay shows you the figures it used.
Evidence, then an action
Each finding names the product, the location and the numbers that triggered it, and links straight to the screen where you fix it — a count to review, a transfer to send, an order to chase.
And it prepares the next step
On AOS, a shortage becomes a prepared action: order this many, from this supplier, for this location. Approve it and MerchantPlay creates an ordinary draft purchase order — nothing is sent to the supplier.
That last part is AOS — MerchantPlay’s Agentic Operations System. It detects operational issues, checks what is actually happening, and prepares the next action for your approval. It never carries one out on its own.
Findings are included on Operations; prepared actions are on AOS. MerchantPlay does not forecast demand, predict stockout dates, order from suppliers on your behalf, or act without someone approving it.
